“Artformative ” Publication

Artformative is a quarterly arts & culture publication that presents different entities of art in a stylized, editorial way. This project was inspired by "How Royal Women Have Shaped Fashion," an article that discusses fashion through the lens of historically significant events and people.

The masthead was designed to be simple and unpretentious in all lowercase while still bringing in the creative style of the publication with the line flowing through the type. The tagline “The Influence of Art” was added to deliver brief information regarding the magazine. The cover was a product of image making, using collage of monarchs and illustration- referring to the feature article.

The table of contents and subsequent spreads are visually cohesive through its simple use of color combined with bold typography and dynamic collages.

The cover of the next issue highlights street art and the cultural significance it has in urban communities.
